Lock Systems

Slide Locks

Snyder slide lock systems are designed to prevent unauthorized access to locomotive cabs. They feature stainless steel construction with a welded-on paintable steel mounting plate.

Crab Locks

Crab locks are designed to limit unauthorized access to fuel tanks and prevent fuel theft.

They fit over the tank adaptor leaving a small opening for the vent hose that connects the tank adapter to the fuel tank.

Locks are the same standard railroad lock as supplied with slide locks.

GE and EMD locomotives require different styles of crab lock, as shown.
